What: Flynn offered to teach Stahn how to make dinner, Leon gets to suffer the results and Mikleo's just there for the show.
Warnings: Leon kicking puppies aka him being a butt to the poor blonds.

[today's finally the day. it took a little while to get here, but it's happening. flynn's keeping true to his word and teaching stahn how to cook a proper dinner. all the ingredients are in their possession after a quick trip to the store so all that remains is making the meal itself. no problem! flynn plans on putting his all into making it fantastic! what's the meal of choice tonight? mabo curry with crepes for dessert. delicious! doubly so with a few special touches.

no matter what, it will be a dinner they'll never forget...

what makes today's event even nicer is the added company of mikleo. they ran into him along the way and the water seraph asked to come along after hearing their plans. the more the merrier, right? flynn surely this will make the meal even more wonderful than expected! he smiles over at mikleo while following stahn up to his apartment.]

[stahn himself isn't quite sure how the mabo curry thing will work out—not because he doesn't trust flynn or mikleo, but because he knows that it's not exactly a meal that will top leon's favorites.

but crepes are a pretty good way to compensate, he thinks—it's a compromise, and if they can make it so that the mabo curry isn't too spicy (and is free of carrots), then maybe it'll work out. either way, stahn can't really say no to flynn's suggestion when he offered in earnest. it's so generous of him to try and help out when stahn has so little experience in the kitchen beyond sometimes offering a hand with things like chopping vegetables or putting pasta in boiling water.

besides, not that they've got mikleo with them, how could anything possibly go wrong? stahn trusts them both here. so he's smiling pretty brightly despite his quiet reservations as he unlocks the door to the apartment to let them in.]

Still, it's a lot of help. I'll owe the both of you a lot for helping! [and then, as an aside to mikleo's suggestion:] Ice cream would be great! That sounds like it would go good with the crepes...

[Leon has no idea how he ended up here (it's Stahn) or why he's still here (the answer is Stahn) or why he's going along with this (you know why), but here he is, and he can't escape. It's a little frustrating, but...at least there's the fact that there will be crepes with ice cream. That's something.

Stahn's right in that Leon's already not particularly enthused for mabo curry, but hey, it'll work out somehow.

[ice cream? why not! crepes do go well with ice cream. he's fairly certain he'd eaten them like that before actually. mikleo makes some delicious ice cream, too, so making some today can only add on to the goodness of their dinner. if it'll make their special little princess tsun happy then all the more reason to add it in.]

I think so, as well. Adding more to the meal can only make it better.

[flynn steps inside the apartment, stepping off to the side to wait for stahn to lead the way to kitchen. going off on his own in a residence he's never been in before feels far too rude!]

We should begin with making the mabo curry first and start making the crepes once that's close to finished.

[crepes take way less time than curry. then the ice cream can come last. mikleo's mad ice cream skills will make that take even less time than everything else. thank god for water seraphs being portable ice cream machines and making life easy. they may also end up making a certain tsun's wrath less intense. always a plus.]
