[Phase I]

[Phoenix walks down the path alone at first, frightened at the sudden shift in scenery but determined to press onwards until he can find any others who might have been whisked away as well. Deciding to follow the sound of the water, Phoenix at first took the pathway going down. He made his way onwards, cautious with each step-\

-only to find himself falling face-fist into the mud.]

...Ow.

[He just lets himself lie there for the moment.

It can't get worse from here... can it?]

[Phase III]

[Phoenix ultimately found himself proven wrong, in a very eerie and unsettling manner. Once had found that shrine, he could not stand being down there any more.

So, he slowly made his way up towards the upper path and eventually arrived in the city area - with his clothes soaked, muddy and in tatters. All along, he was still followed by that mask with the frowning face...

And that eventually lead to his current situation. While fleeing from the metallic monsters, Phoenix has taken shelter in a hall of mirrors. He'll soon come to regret this decision as well...

Phoenix performs a double take at first, when he sees a flash of something familiar in the mirrors. It was hard to tell from something so quick, but it looked like some very familiar strands of red hair.]

[Wildcard!]

[You can also run into Phoenix at some other point throughout the phases, including while trying to take shelter in some of the other ramshackle buildings! Or hit me up if you have any other prompt ideas to work out!]
