[Nico hears the monster before he sees it, but then he hears a very human sounding voice call out as well, so he picks up his pace. His black Stygian Iron blade is already out and ready to be used, so when he comes running in and sees a monster with a spear sticking out of it, he doesn't even slow down, racing right up and ducking so he doesn't get hit before slicing the blade up to take off a limb. The creature doesn't act too happy about that, lashing out with its other hand and Nico barely manages to get back in time to escape being mauled, although he does get caught on the side slightly. It's just scratches though, and he doesn't like this stupid outfit anyway, so it doesn't slow him down.]

I don't think I've ever seen things this ugly before.
