The NPCs will look like normal enemies/NPCs until they are dead, at which point they look like the loved one at the time of murder; they won't look like them all along!

After their death, they will look like said loved one to every character who sees them, regardless of whether they know who they are or not; they will appear to be the loved one of the character who killed them to everyone.
