[ Charlie remains on-guard while Marlin chants. He doubts those NPCs are gone for good, and he'll be ready for them if they poke their heads in again.

He wants to ask Merlin how it's going, but the kid seems to be concentrating, so he won't interrupt unless it goes on much longer without results. ]
