[Yuri hesitates lightly, though not because she doesn't want to say (well, she doesn't, but she's the one who did it in the first place so she was prepared for this) but because she's not sure how to begin explaining.]

It's... Where I lived, there were priestesses that lived on the mountain who had this ability. After a tragedy caused them to scatter, the ability spread through their descendants... Part of it is that if I touch a spirit or a body, I can [how does she put this] relive the person's last moments and see their last memories.

[She runs a hand through her hair self-consciously] It's not something common where I'm from. Here, it doesn't really matter-- people can do much more impressive things, but I'm still not very used to doing it openly or talking about it. At least, not this aspect of it.
