[ At least it helps that this isn't the first sword.. spirit.. person thing he's met here. Kashuu was the first who immediately explained it like that, so it helps a little bit with the surprise.

Just a little bit though. The idea of talking to swords is definitely still weird. A little exciting, since Shinpachi sure likes swords, being a samurai and all.. but also weird. It makes him imagine his own swords coming to life and talking to him, and that's definitely just weird. ]

Oh-- another one of you. [ The surprise definitely shows up on his face, even though his reaction isn't as over the top as some other ones he's shown before. Shinpachi doesn't bow, but he at least nods his head in return. Sort of like a mini-bow. ]

Nagakura Shinpachi, captain of the second division of the Shinsengumi. [ He figures he should at least give his own title in return, even if it's been a long time since he's been back in his own world, it feels like. ]

I guess if you're really that eager to help a guy out and it can't hurt.. I can't turn it down, huh?
