[Even despite his first attempt at this didn't really yield much in the way of results, Ryuuga's undeterred. Even if he doesn't seem to have to worry about Gates or Inga for the most part, he's still checking things out around the city when he can. There's multiple ways that someone can run into him:

a.) He's back in his Knight uniform, patrolling alleyways and other shady areas for trouble, breaking up fights if necessary, but always going for disarming an opponent quickly over anything else. Though with some of these fights, he does look like he's having a good time. Almost feels right, honestly.

b.) Some might see a streak jumping across rooftops and ledges (or run past you if you're up on the roofs as well), the glint of gold unmistakable as a figure in wolf-like armor takes great leaps in a huge hurry. Do you dare follow?

c.) Or you may have seen him in one of his few moments of respite, eyes closed and resting for a few moments as he's leaned up against an empty wall or bench before he starts up again. He's used to running on little to no sleep considering his job back home, so this isn't too much different.

d.) Others might see him hanging around the edge of the labyrinth, looking incredibly uncomfortable but still determined. This place creeps the hell out of him for sure, but he can't help but feel the need to investigate. He's got his duties to think of, after all - even if they're technically moot due to the nature of this place.]

[Despite his surprise, the enthusiasm's infectious, and Ryuuga can't help but let out a bit of a chuckle and nods at Lee's question.]

Yeah. That armor is given to the one who's earned the title of the strongest Knight and the hope of the current generation - "Garo".

[Lee looks very impressed by this and gasps softly.]

Th-the strongest knight?! ...The hope of the current generation - of youth?! I never hard of such a thing. "Garo". But... but...

[Tears shimmer in his eyes.]

You are so cool!!

Huh?

[To be honest, this is probably the most positive reaction he's ever seen to someone seeing his armor, even from those that knew about what kind of significance it carried beforehand. It's a bit odd, and Ryuuga ends up scratching the bridge of his nose with a bit of a sheepish grin.]

Oh, uh. Thanks.

I'm Ryuuga, by the way.

It - it is an honor to meet you, Ryuuga-kun! [He chatters excitedly and then tries to pose for dramatically.]

As for my own name?! I am Rock Lee, Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast! I also try to be a defender of the springtime of youth, but I have nothing on you, Ryuuga-kun!

[Okay the posing might be a little over-the-top though he really can't talk, he's done his fair share of dramatic posing after the armor's been donned (shut up it's totally a legit tactic). Still-]

Hey, don't sell yourself short. I might be considered the strongest Knight back home, but that generally doesn't mean much to some people around here. It's all relative.

[This is just the beginning of the over-the-topness.]

Thank you for such kind words, Ryuuga-kun! [He bows.] I will not underestimate myself. But, what you are means a lot to me! I will always cheer you on, Ryuuga-kun, champion of youth!! [That's what Lee got out of all that.]

[He's forced to pause at that - it technically wouldn't be wrong, but he's really never heard it put like that.

Anyway-]

That is the same thing as the 'hope of the current generation', correct?

[Then Lee pumps a fist proudly.]

Yes!! I am so glad to hear that, and honored by that offer! This must be our destined first meeting. I will always look out for you, Ryuuga-kun!

[Actually, that's a good point.]

Yeah, I guess it would be.

[Holy shit why is this kid so precious - it's like having the little brother you never knew you wanted. To be honest, Ryuuga's still a bit taken aback at all the enthusiasm, but it's definitely a welcome change of pace from all the grimness of what he usually ends up dealing with.]

Sounds good! I'm probably going to keep moving for a bit, then call it a night. If you want to come with, that's fine, though I don't think I'll be putting the armor back on again for a bit.

[Well, this guy seems to be just too cool! And he smiles as he listens.]

I see! That sounds like a fair choice. Even guardians of youth must rest sometimes! [He supports him with a thumbs up.] I would be honored to run with you until the very end! [Is he talking about right now or in general...?]

[That's an excellent question - even Ryuuga has no idea as to the extent, but if worst came to worst, he'd protect him if he had to. Granted, he's not sure on the extent of Lee's abilities or if there really was anything for them to be worried about.

Then again, at least in the case of the latter, that was why he was out on these patrols in the first place.]

Alright, make sure you keep up! [And with that he takes off for the nearest rooftop edge with a grin before taking a leap.]

Yosh! I will do my best!!

[Rock Lee cheers and pumps his fist before he proceeds to take a running leap to match Ryuuga...!]

[When was the last time that he did something like this with someone else - ... probably Vol City with Takeru and Aguri, thinking on it. While he was used to running around with Rian, most of the time they were able to use the passages that Ryume had made throughout the city to get to where they needed quickly. Not that he wasn't grateful to the Priestess for making it easier for them to stop Horrors within the city, there was something exhilarating about free running like this.

He clears the rooftop with little trouble and risks a glance over his shoulder to see if Lee was still following. He wasn't kidding when he said he'd run with him, apparently.

It was fine, though - really. Once he turns back to keep an eye on his current path, he continues across a few more rooftops, eventually coming to a stop near the Residential District to turn in for the time being.]

[Rock Lee does follow him the whole time, and he doesn't seem to be very fatigued by it all.

Once Ryuuga comes to a stop, Lee offers a thumbs up.]

That was a refreshing run! We should do this again sometime!

[He can't help it - Ryuuga grins, returning the thumbs-up.]
