Reflex has him moving to block right before something would connect, the tightly held layer of aura just enough to prevent his bones from breaking, though he keeps it soft from what would be bruising deeply. The punches need to look like they hurt him more than they do, he needs to bait him into lowering his guard more, or take enough that Hisoka grows annoyed with the lack of real reaction.
Instead of trying to throw his own blows, he moves to dodge away, to fall back so there's enough room to predict and see what's going on, in a stance but hands still empty. Trying to trick the trickster. There's some sort of joke to be made in that plan of action, he's sure.
