[ does she have to thank ceres for something if they're the reason she needs it in the first place? because sometimes she is honestly grateful for the presence of vivid, which is silly and virtual but still some form of a time spender and stress relief in the face of all the ridiculousness they face.
not that she's here for the latter, in this case. for some... odd reason, she hasn't needed much of that. for someone so easily upset, there just... didn't seem to be much to be upset about lately.
thanks, cerealia!
maybe that's why she isn't that annoyed to hear the notice of an approaching challenger, when she's usually up to clearing these levels on her own. there's not much to clear in this particular stage, from what she can see—it's just a circular arena, coliseum like, with locked iron gates in the walls. nothing more.
a circular arena with a familiar boy in it now, when her so-called challenger logs in, bringing with him a countdown above them, coupled with a robotic voice: OBJECTIVE: KILL THE MOST ENEMIES. AND DON'T SUCK.

Well, that's a surprise. Look who stepped in.
[ hello, hiro.
you're stuck in a gladiator arena with milla and an annoying countdown (which the former doesn't find annoying at all. weird)! isn't that fun. ]
