[So it’s a normal day like any other day in Cerealia when things go awry. While Hiro had activated his robot “for science”, Tadashi chose not to activate it. So instead…well instead, Baymax chose to activate it for him. That totally went well. Over the course of the next couple of days, people can find the brothers (and sometimes their robots) in a variety of situations.

a.) Even after everything that’s happened between them, both of them have been feeling like they need to bond more. What better way than to play a game of soccer? It’s very possible that the ball goes awry and Hiro gets nailed in the face. It’s also very possible that Hiro’s doing the kicking and you may get hit in the face. Heads up!

b.) So what happens when you have two Hiros and two Baymaxes? It becomes a hassle and poor, poor Tadashi has to keep up with all four of them. You may be approached by one or both Baymaxes and promptly greeted. You may also encounter Hiro-bot who will ask you a barrage of questions until his master or Tadashi come to rescue you. Or you may just encounter two weary Hamadas who need a break.

c.) You know what’s even better than a bunch of robots? CYBuddies! Based on Tadashi’s announcement to the network, the boys are in the park in a make-shift arena to host a demonstration of how the fighter-companion CYBuddies work. Up for a show? Come check it out, pick an animal (a red lizard, a turtle, or some kind of green reptile), and watch how they work.

d.) Wildcard! All you really need to know is that both of these idiots are feeling the effects of being way more affectionate than normal and robot-Baymax is just as curious and squishy as normal-Baymax.

There may also be a stray CYBuddy running around. Do them a solid and return it to them, would you?]

One of CERES', you mean, [ he says with a little bit of disdain. he's not particularly fond of ceres being able to recreate something he's made...

then he looks back, and points a thumb at where the two hiros are, as well as the original baymax. ]

That one's mine. And those two are Hiro - not sure if you've met him.

[prosecutory]

[After greeting Tadashi with a wagging tail and a happy bark, Pess is lured away by Baymax extending a hand. The dog starts sniffing it...it doesn't smell like human, but it's not dangerous either.]

That is one of CERES' robots? They made a robot based on...your robot?

[Edgeworth squints at the direction of Hiro's voice and a robotic voice before staring at Tadashi.]

I've met Hiro, but not the robot.

[zerotohiro]

[And speaking of Hiro, the original finally gives up the pursuit of his double and his original robot-nanny to join Edgeworth and Tadashi, breathing a little heavily from all of the running around at the park. Baymax 2.0 pats Pess on the head and croons about fuzzy infants (not quite the right dialogue, but close effort.)]

Hey Edgeworth! [He grins even while catching his breath, keeping half of his attention on the other robots before also addressing Tadashi.] Dude, the robot even moves like I do. [This is an important observation even as he looks at Baymax 2.0] How's he holding up around you two?

[bropane]

[ ugh, late observation, hiro? tadashi just rolls his head. ]

Don't sound so happy. These robots might turn on us any time soon.

[prosecutory]

Hello, Hiro. [Edgeworth nods toward Hiro, and catches a glimpse of Pess enjoying the attention from Baymax 2.0, allowing the robot to pet his furry body.

At Tadashi's words about robots turning on them, Edgeworth can't help but wince, casting an uneasy eye over the CERES robot.]

Knowing CERES, that's not an impossibility. [He turns to Hiro again.] But so far, this robot hasn't caused trouble. [The clone Baymax has been a good bot. Especially around Pess.]

[zerotohiro]

I'm not so sure that the CERES robot's actually gonna malfunction if it's communicating and mimicking another robot, you know? [He shrugs.] It's not like the one that belongs to me. Machines have their own language but we're keeping an eye out for both of them. Besides, the cybuddies are technically part of CERES and they're fine.

[bropane]

[ oh god.

he makes a face at that. a terribly panicked one. ]

Don't jinx it! [ he might lose a job if cybuddies started attacking people! ]

[prosecutory]

But the CYbuddies have been around for a much longer time. These mimicking robots are quite new.

[Don't worry, Tadashi.]

Have either of you examined these robots in more detail? [Edgeworth wouldn't put it past them to take one apart.]

[zerotohiro]

Yeah, I already tore one apart. [This is said so casually and the Baymax-bot gives Hiro a look that could only be described as "slightly suspicious."] Someone brought me theirs so I gutted it to see what was inside. Not too much, actually. That's the thing.

[bropane]

[ oh. he looks at hiro, puzzled. he didn't know that. ]

Nothing suspicious?

[And here he looks sheepish.]

I was gonna tell you later...["But I wanted to hang out with you without thinking about work for a while."] It was mostly a bunch of wires and paneling. Way more advanced than some of the stuff we've got at the shop though. I've thought about doing some upgrades on mine but he's not letting me.

[Which...is weird in and of itself.]

[bropane]

[ he looks at edgeworth and bows his head slightly as if to say "sorry, man. bro talk for a bit." his attention is back to hiro seconds later, though. ]

Of course you'd want to upgrade yourself. Unbelievable.

[prosecutory]

[Meanwhile, Pess has gone back to investigating Baymax 2.0.

Edgeworth just listens to all this talk about taking robots apart. He quietly digests what he can understand. So, these robots aren't receptive to upgrades, huh.]

What do you mean, Hiro? Your robot objects? [Hiro had said that the interior wasn't much, so maybe it wasn't the interior repelling any further tinkering.]

[zerotohiro]

[The Baymax 2.0 is less suspicious of the original, though it's not long that it becomes clear the second Hiro and the original Baymax are approaching behind them. Hiro doesn't seem to notice, seeing how he waves a hand and continues to talk.]

I asked him about upgrading him to make him taller or process faster and he kept arguing with me and asking me not to touch him. I mean it was pretty weird? Baymax is more receptive to upgrades.

Well would YOU like it if someone was poking around your insides without permission? [The voice, though still very mildly mechanical, matches Hiro's pitch perfectly as the robot approaches and stares at the original in disbelief.] I'm gonna say no.

[So yeah. This happened.]

I doubt you'd be able to make your robot any taller, either, bro.

[ sorry not sorry ]

[prosecutory]

[Pess glances from Baymax 2.0 to the original Baymax and robo-Hiro, and back again. The dog is clearly quite confused, but nonetheless approaches the real Baymax and Hiro's doppleganger to investigate...cautiously.

Edgeworth has no comment to Tadashi's quip, but Hiro's new piece of information is intriguing.]

Your robot double must be determined to look and act exactly like you, as the other robots are doing...and are smart enough to notice threats to that plan of theirs.

[Hirobot stands still and eyes Pess curiously, while Baymax 2.0 bends a little to pat the dog on the head. There there.]

I wouldn't call it a threat. [Even though...it may very well be, sure.] You'd think that their desire to make us happy would override wanting to look and act like us. Any theories on that?
