First Annual Cerelia Three-Legged Friendship Race [Open]
Who: Hajime (
heartsandcrafts), her robot Kira-chan and anyone and their partner (or anyone with three legs) for a three Legged Friendship Race!
When: IC 6/24 Afternoon
Where: At the School Track
What: Hajime announced a three-legged race with prizes in hopes to help people bond with their new lookalikes (or just their normal friends)! Come for food, prizes, friendship, or maybe just the spectacle.
Rating/Warning: None
[There's quite the spectacle down at the school track today... maybe you saw the announcement, or maybe you were just attracted by the TV crews or free food, but it's not hard to see what's going on once you get there - a huge sign saying "FIRST ANNUAL CERELIA4 THREE-LEGGED FRIENDSHIP RACE" scrawled in primary colors by childlike hands (with many childlike handprints around it) hangs over the start line. There's already pairs of small children running around the track with their legs tied together - it's going about as well as you'd imagine.
Come sign up, take a seat, grab a partner or maybe some refreshments! Just... don't mind the enthusiastic cameramen or the studio audience that seems to laugh loudly whenever someone falls down. It's a sponsored Cerelian TV show after all.]
[Sign Ups]
[Need a partner? Here's a great place to look for one. Or get forcibly paired with one. Hajime might be running the event but some of the staff help might not have the same friendly touch she does... if you're just here to watch, be careful about passing to close to the sign-up booth; someone might decide you need more friendship in your life.
Already have a partner? Well great, sign up and here's your ankle-binding band. Just be careful if you made plans to meet at the event... it's 6/24, so your robot double might have beaten you to the punch, if you were rude enough to try to partner with someone besides them, and once they've signed up with your friend, there's no switching places allowed. Clearly you just need to beat them at their own game, as long as that game is a three-legged race.]
[Racing]
[Once the tiny tots are out of the way, the track is clear for everyone else. There's a few races: the free-for-all and doubles divisions. The Doubles is specifically for people partnered with their new robots (or any twins in attendance) while the free-for-all is for any team... even ones where people got replaced by their doubles on sign up. Show off your friendship, your synchronization! Or complete lack thereof.
To prevent a complete melee and chaos every time someone falls down, the races are being conducted as pairs are ready, either single or 2-3 at a time, with times compared at the end, so feel free to thread the race!]
[Refreshments]
[Lemonade and cookies for everyone! It's a kid's show, so that's literally all there is. Whether you're a competitor, a spectator or this is the only reason you came here, everyone's welcome. Just make sure everyone can see the HKK sponsoring logo on every cup.]
[OOC: Open free for all post! Feel free to use the prompts above or anything else you can think of.]

Hajime | Open
Come on in! Grab a partner! Grab a band!
Leeeeet's race!
Leeeeet's race!
[Hajime is having way too much fun with this, posing with her robot double, both all dressed up in gym clothes, eagerly handing out bands and sign up sheets to anyone who comes close enough. Even if you're just passing by, you might suddenly get these two jumping out at you, holding out a sign-up sheet]
How about you?
[Refreshments]
Whew! [It turns out running an event like this is hard work. Hajime is sweating, and she hasn't even run yet. It's no surprise, as she's been all over the place, not just working but also encouraging people to join, cheering, taking care of the kids that wander about the place now and keeping an eye on her increasingly wayward double. you've caught one of the rare moment's she's standing still as she chugs down a cup of lemonade, finishing with a sigh of way too much enjoyment.]
Pwaaaahhh! Ahh, that hits the spot!
