[CLOSED] just hum the gravity falls theme.
Who: Dipper Pines (cryptologic), Mabel Pines (meowbel), Yu Narukami (covenantal), and ... Dipperbot and Mabelbot.
When: 6/30, likely.
Where: Somewhere in the Residential District.
What: Dipperbot and Mabelbot track down and corner one Yu, who is getting really pretty sick of all these robots. Dipper and Mabel show up to save the day.
Rating/Warning: Warning for Pines twins being AWESOME.
[ Yesterday's showdown with Rise's robot had been bad enough. In the sense, at least, that Yu feels awful for Rise. He's incredibly proud of her for standing up for herself, but that she had to go through that at all...
He can't help but feel furious at Mosley once again, even if the man isn't personally responsible for these things. He's just the courier. The most public possible face for CERES' repeated, awful "mistakes." If they can even be called that. CERES must have been aware, from the start, of what this technology was capable of.
Now, of course, it's gotten just a little worse.
The apartment had become more and more fraught in recent days, what with all the robots they had coming and going, making ever-increasing death threats. And Yu, robot-less, had to do a delicate balancing act between dodging them and deliberately engaging them to keep them away from his friends. At least, up until they engaged him.
Which is how he finds himself running out into the same grassy area outside his apartment building where Rise faced her robot just the day before, being tracked down by perfect copies of Dipper and Mabel. Dipper, who had very logically tried to explain why he was obviously the superior version of Dipper. Mabel, who'd tried to force gifts and compliments on him. And both of them, who'd gotten violent when he'd refused them.
Just as he's about to turn and summon Izanagi, he gets clocked in the side of the head - really rather painfully - with a rock. Hissing, he takes a step to correct his stumble and pinches one eye shut, staring at Dipper's robot through the other and pressing a hand to his head. It's tossing another rock up and down, looking pleased with itself. Mabel's robot is close behind. ]
