[Honestly? Puu was pretty useless in the grand scheme of things. He didn't have any particularly handy powers, aside from generating shields and being a pretty handy get-away creature when he was larger (not to mention acting as a telephone for dead old ladies), but-- he was good for self-reflection. Not that Yusuke paid much mind to THAT, but it was besides the point.

The real shocker here was this guy's knowledge of them-- Yusuke had said that as a rhetorical question, but he didn't expect the guy to know his stuff.]

Hey, he's not usually like this, okay? He's... bigger. And has more feathers. And looks a helluva lot more like a bird than he does now.

Though, uh... where have you seen 'em before? I've never really spotted anyone else with them back home, so I don't have a good means of comparison.
