Well. Yes. Also the food can spoil and make the house cold.

Hijikata feels like he's following a toddler around, but... it's Heisuke so... ]

Ah. It's not for food. [ he rubs the side of his head, and then goes to pick up the remote... and flips the TV on. Right now it's on... CYBuddy planet... ]

I guess it's for... Entertainment? I don't know, I never use it.
