Who: Yamato (friendshipcrest), Gabumon, & you!

Where: Shopping district, CERES gardens
What: A boy and his enabler lizardwolf have been busy with ViViD, and spend their hard-earned credits on a little shopping.

I. SHOPPING DISTRICT
[Yamato has been playing ViViD almost every day lately, determined to play enough get Gabumon up to his usual strength so nothing like the robot incident can happen again. He didn't realise just how many credits this would net him too, and now he has a lot more than he expected. He's looking around for anything to spend it on, when a music shop catches his eye. He pauses at the window, eyes wide at some of the more exotic instruments. But what really grabs his attention is a bass guitar at the front of the window. The price is a little eye-watering for someone on his budget, but...
It makes him feel a little bit homesick, looking at it.
From beside him, Gabumon pipes up.]
Yamato, can we go inside? I want to look at all the instruments. You do too, right?
I don't know... I shouldn't waste my credits on expensive stuff. --H-hey! [Gabumon is already determined, trying to nudge and corral his partner into going inside, laughing.]
It's fine if we just look!
II. CERES GARDENS
[Just browsing, as it turns out, turned into Yamato being persuaded into leaving the store with a new case for his harmonica, and... a second-hand bass slung over his back that's almost as big as he's tall. It's still in decent condition, and thankfully a lot more affordable than what had initially caught his eye.
He sets himself up sitting at one of the fountains, refamiliarising himself with the instrument. He'd played his father's before, but he was still picking up the basics -- he was nowhere near as good as with the harmonica.
He starts by trying to tune it at first, before moving onto practising a few notes to warm up. Gabumon sits beside him, curious but happy to watch and listen.]

...Y-yeah, that's right. His name's Gabumon. [Yamato looks sheepish. It's not often other people catch him goofing off with his partner, especially when he likes to make a cool first impression. Not that the older boy seems to mind, so he'll just move right along...!]
Have you met Agumon and the others before?

There's even more here besides Gabumon and Tailmon? [ with a hint of excitement!!! though he does collect himself enough to dial that back a tad with a pause. ] Oh, uh, that's where I heard of them. Digimon. I met Tailmon and Hikari a while back. I just realized just approaching you all of a sudden about this stuff was probably a little weird...
[ he just got so hype. ]

[He counts them off one by one. Then to the apology, he smiles slightly and shakes his head.] No, it's okay. I'm starting to get used to people being curious about them...
[And he's happy people are so curious about Gabumon instead of being afraid of him, in a way. Gabumon means a lot to him, after all, so any appreciation of his friend is good news to him.]
