Who: Eiji (
powertotearer, some little robots, and you!
When: IC 7/26
Where: Around the residential district
What: Little robot octopi don't like CYbuddies. Eiji tries to keep them under control
Rating/Warning: None
Eiji discovered something the past couple of weeks--the Tako candroids really didn't like the CYbuddies.
He couldn't figure out why, since after all, they were both small animal robots, but the problem had gotten worse after CERES kindly delivered broken fox CYbuddies to his and Ankh's apartment. Now, they were a threat.
Put simply, the candroids were jealous. And it was war.
So on an otherwise peaceful day, you might see three robot octopi chasing after various CYbuddies in the park or on the sky bridges while Eiji chased after them, with a little robot hawk trying to cut them off before they annoyed another neighbor.
"Takos, stop! Leave them alone!"

Several of the group's gifts to the people here had turned deadly if abused or tossed aside, at least that's what the had noticed in the last couple of months. It was half the reason why he had stuffed his into a closet to forget about, though he did half-expect it to come limping out one day.
"Back into us?"
He had a theory that they were a bit of them or stemmed from whatever code used to make the people here. The butterfly set off once again, going after the CYbuddies with little chimes as if trying to encourage the takos.
"After all, they did share out pieces of our memories to whoever ran into them."

Just his luck to throw away something important when he was trying to be helpful.
But the thought about those bits of soul going back into them gives him pause--enough that the Takos decide it's time to go back to causing mischief now that he's distracted.
"You're sure? I didn't feel any different without it, so I don't know how I should feel if it's back. The only loss I really noticed was my memories, and even then, it took a while."

Really, he had no idea what would be the proper response with those broken CYbuddies would be, but he left his alone and stuffed it away in case it started to move, or decided to do what those robots did a few weeks ago.
"It followed us around, it shared only our memories, and only we could see them. I cannot say that they weren't a part of us without using magics. My wife handled magics; I just bashed things very hard with my sword until there's no movement left."

"And I don't know anything about that either." Because usually he left legends, mystical stuff, and the like to Ankh or to eccentric CEOs who screamed every other word and baked cakes all day. You know, experts. "I tried visiting one of the spirits--Ardeo? No help, though."

No one knew anything unless they were the ones in charge. Again it reminded him of the hellhole most Horrors called home when they were not in the human world. This was just done in a place that at least had something similar to better seating really.
"We would be better off to seek any help from each other then from anything close to CERES, no matter how trustworthy it says it is."
no subject
"Yeah, I think that's for the best. The place I was in before, anyone working there was pretty suspect too. Even if we didn't exactly trust them, just letting our guard down around them got us hurt."
