[ Duo hadn’t stirred once, during the entire broadcast and the lot, not even through the things in their apartment going on. None of it really mattered all that much compared to getting his much needed shut-eye… except when he’s unceremoniously shocked by the bed. He gives a shriek of surprise as he wakes, immediately scrambling for a gun or something, anything, to ward off an attacker –
But his eyes catch the difference in his room - - and he’s quickly up and getting dressed, making sure he’s at least got something to defend himself with, as none of this could be good.
After fighting his way through their blender and everything else…
Well, let’s just say he’s definitely revving up the thermal weapons from their gundams to get out of their apartment.
No one take any notice to the tiny green-beamed scythed being used to cut completely through the metal door. He’s got time and enough malicious energy to burn to not use a damn window. ]
PHASE II
[ Suddenly he’s incredibly glad that he’s been paranoid enough to keep supplies around in case anything went South in the city. Duo looks about as dubious as he ever has, sunglasses on, hat low on his head and a backpack stuffed to the brim situated on his back. There’s a few situations he can be caught in, at the moment, as he tries to avoid the train:
A: Knocking some heads when the police bots try to arrest him. Surprise – he’s a scrawny kid, but he apparently doesn’t hold any thing back when he’s fighting robots, and there may be shots fired if one particularly does not want to stay down.
B: Warning people about cars coming from the shop. Even if it’s being down the street and giving a warning shout of “Hey! The cars have been crashing everywhere! Stay the hell away from ‘em!” from the nearest fire escape or roof top that he doesn’t seem too opposed to hopping across to reach another.
C: Coming upon the train wreck and, after a moment, carefully picking his way through pieces of train and rubble. He may look like Death, dressed in all black, but he’s pretty damn adept at rescue and bandaging, so it may be a good plan to go with him. “Listen, no worries, I’ve got you, ok? Just keep calm.” ]
PHASE IV
[ As the lights die, and the entire city goes quiet, Duo can be found hiding out in random places around the city, treading carefully, making sure anyone around who seems to be having trouble isn’t in too much of a pinch, you know, your regular benevolent devil behavior.
But he’s back to pacing the streets as the lights come back on just.. kind of surveying the damage.
He stops to pick at a robot, finally, when he runs across one that isn’t too obviously in the street, wanting to see what’s going on with it - ]
