[Minato isn't feeling the whole waking up and going outside thing either, but he's up and dressed all the same because his bed can't take a hint. He's about to walk past by Athena's apartment without realizing what's going on when he happens to glimpse what looks like a piece of cloth and looks up to see Athena climbing out of her window.
