For the time being it seems so.

[He rubbed at his eyes with the palms of his hands, then blinked a few times to see if that would help... something. He didn't really know what. It didn't help anything though. Nope, everything was still as bright and ugly as before, only now his eyes stung worse.]

I pray it is only temporary...
