Namazuo Toushirou | Touken Ranbu | OTA

Phase II.

[Well this is a pretty terrible start to the day.

Namazuo remembers this place. He has no way of knowing how many months it's been, but too much happened while he was here--how could he forget getting washed away by a water spirit after traversing a dangerous, alien jungle? How could he possibly forget dying at the hands of a monster for the sake of a friend he'd made here?

Overall, though, he'd always thought of Cerealia as a fairly decent place. It wasn't home, and he longed for his brothers the whole time, but his master had been here, and his comrades. They'd had plenty of fun, even despite the chaos and danger they faced because of CERES.

This, though... this is...

It's not new, exactly. It reminds him of the Nexus Code, those faces he'd seen while he'd been in limbo, after dying but before coming back to life. But even that was nothing compared to this. Opening his eyes to find himself face to face with his own lifeless body, buried under the empty shells of his family. ViViD was terrible enough, even with the exit so clearly marked, but this isn't ViViD. It's reality.

He can't stop the instinctive yell that escapes him, once it clicks, exactly what he's looking at. They aren't real, but they're awful nonetheless, and he's frantic as he tries to claw his way out of the pile. He's small, but there are a lot of bodies, so a little help would be appreciated.]

Phase (III and) IV.

[Alright, well, after a weirdo encounter with a rude robot, Namazuo's got a pamphlet in his hand. Okay.

It's not the weirdest thing he's seen all day. But he hasn't exactly looked at it, too busy wandering around the colony, taking in the changes. He's following his feet, mostly, and if it's your picture on the pamphlet, he'll end up inadvertently bumping straight into you. After the traumatic experience of waking up, forgive him if it takes him a second to apologize-- but he will, with a sheepish little laugh.]

I'm so sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention!

[And then, of course, there's the rain.

Whatever he's doing when it hits, he stops, staring up at it with wide eyes. That certainly wasn't what he was expecting today--but it's certainly not unwelcome. He'll stand with his face tilted upwards for a little while, and then...]

Blech!

[Yep, he's catching raindrops in his mouth.

(They aren't very tasty.)

Join him?]
