[OPEN]

Who: Harada Sanosuke ([personal profile] speariting) and YOU!
When: IC: 11/7, OOC: 10/23
Where: AROUND...starting near Sano's apartment, then near any shop that he can still buy stuff from, then...well, wherever he ends up. Hopefully his own bed.
What: Current events get the man down sometimes and Sano is not immune to them. So he knowingly makes a less-than-wise decision and gets his booze on.
Rating/Warning: DRUNKEN SHENANIGANS, public embarrassment, definite Regret in the morning

A.

[It all starts with a six-pack.

Just a six-pack of beer, so not even anything horribly fancy, but it was cheap and easily accessible and Sano seized the opportunity.

Because after a few weeks of sitting around in his empty apartment, thinking about how their existence in Tellus could end basically any day, it drives him crazy. He's gone to the dojo a few times, just to try and work off some of the stress, and it keeps for a while. A good rush of adrenaline does wonders. But then that awful, useless feeling comes back, time and time again.

Sano finishes off a couple bottles, then carefully packs the remaining four in a bag as he goes on...well, an adventure outside. He knows better than to do this, especially when the city is dangerous and he's not planning on being in perfectly sober shape, but it's a better option in his head than staying cooped up inside and worrying when he can't do much to change anything.

He at least takes his spear along, because he's not completely stupid. And when he finds a relatively empty patch of city, one with a view that isn't another glitching building, he makes himself at home and opens up bottle number three.

Maybe you're there, too, in which case, he'll salute you with that bottle first, then get on to tipsy town.]

B.

[The day drags on and Sano has finished his six-pack of beer. So, clearly, it's time to go find more, because he can handle quite a bit and that beer didn't pack the punch he's been looking for.

What is with this technologically-advanced world and their weak-ass alcohol content?

Also what is with his sudden inability to find sake. At least he knows that stuff gets the job done, but he can't find any anywhere. It's a travesty, to be honest.

But, look! There's someone nearby! Surely they'll know something. Or so he hopes.]

Hey! Important question. What's the best alcohol you've had in your life here and where can I find some?

[Don't mind his beer breath if you're close enough to get a whiff of it. He's fine. Totally.]

[Ohhh, boy. Whatever it is Sano's discovered on his adventure, it's getting to him, even if it might be a little slowly, but it doesn't really matter. At least he's not thinking as much and that might have been his entire goal. He doesn't know. He doesn't remember.

But it's darker now and walking is strangely more difficult than it should be, but at least he's still got his trusty spear to lean on when he needs to.

What a good spear. Always there for him. How you doin', buddy?

...Yeah, he's been around the swords enough that he's even subconsciously referring to his weapon as an actual sentient being, even if it is just a spear right now. And it's gonna be just a spear. But whatever. At least he's not so trashed that he's liable to trip over some grass and just -

...Oh shit, wait, no, he totally just tripped and faceplanted in the grass.

Haaaaa, that's kind of funny.

Don't mind as he flops onto his back and starts laughing.

Don't mind, but maybe he needs to get his ass dragged back home.]

D.

[Or maybe Sano managed to get his own ass moving again after his little mishap and he's back in the residential district, still with his trusty spear, at least. But wow, these buildings have a lot of doors, don't they? He knows his room is around here somewhere, but uh...

A lot of doors.

Blurry doors.

Maybe if he picks one and just...gently(?) knocks on it, the person inside will be so kind as to point him in the right direction. Maybe. Hopefully.

Yi...kes, maybe this wasn't his brightest idea.

Oops.]
