[Naturally, this is where the hero enters the scene.
Ruby flings herself into the scene dramatically, scythe raised, cape fluttering, and brings it down on the Flamine's dark form and--
Nothing.
It cuts, she feels it, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all, and then she's swatted away just like that, and she yelps as she tumbles back.
Alright, that rescue mission didn't go quite as planned.]
