At first, the concept confused Ada as well. Her world was another that was filled with many troubles and dangers. Not only that, but the culture gap was incredible. But Ada didn't feel like these kinds of things were pointless at all. No, she felt like it was because of the troubles and dangers of the world that things like this were important. If you lived your life letting fear and worry overcome you, there were a lot of really good things in life that you would miss. If places like this could make people forget their troubles and fears for a while, then... they had a value far beyond that which you could measure with money or titles. People could come together and smile. And that was exactly the kind of thing she wanted to protect.
It really was only a few minutes, which was impressive itself for the transformation. Gone was the strange outfit and it's matching headpiece and when Ada emerged, she was back to her normal self - two ribbons in her hair on either side and wearing a simple, yet elegant dress. She quickly made herself comfortable at the seat across from his, smiling the same way she so often did, hands folded comfortably on the table in front of her. But even though her smile was the same, there was... something off about her. Something that seemed to be sad.
"Thank you for meeting with me today. I apologize for contacting you so suddenly. I had meant to do so earlier but..."
Well. She had some other issues that she'd needed to settle first before she met with him. But... that wasn't something she wanted to discuss with Delita, although the subjects did overlap a little. "Well. It simply didn't seem like the right time." She hoped that he could accept that, even though it was far from a proper explanation. It was difficult enough having to bring him here to discuss the matter as it was without bringing... any other details into it.
