The problems here did seem mundane compared to that - or to those of her own world, where creatures called Chains contracted with and took advantage of humans so that they could come into their dimension and devour people before dragging that person back into the Abyss with them. But she thought people had the right to be happy regardless of what it was that troubled them. It wasn't that she preferred this over her own world, just that she hoped perhaps she could take some of their ideas with her in the hopes of making her own world a happier place. No matter how people spent their days, death was imminent, and tragedies weren't something you could keep away. She just wanted a world where it was possible for people to enjoy the days and they people they had and to be more happy for it.
As an aristocrat, Ada is used to wearing lavish outfits - but she's also still a student. That meant she also had opportunities to get out of such complicated and heavy clothes, and she found she liked it better if they were light and pretty, but simpler. Corsets were difficult not only to prepare, but to move around in and breathe in, no matter what their benefits to the female figure were. So she avoided those kinds of things here.
She'd also like to say that this was just a simple get-together between acquaintances. Delita might be different from her, but she still hoped that they could be friends with time. But even if that was what she would have liked, it isn't true. There's something she wants to ask of him. Beyond that however, it would be nice if they could sit and talk more.
"There was something I wanted to talk to you about, though it certainly wasn't the only reason I asked you here. I'd like to know more about you as well."
But even so, he had the right to hear out her request first. "But I suppose first thing is first. I want to ask... are you familiar with a man named Vincent Nightray?" She did not assume one way or the other, and he'd never made any mention of it. At least not to her.
