[THIS DINGUS. Oz can certainly tell that the tone of his answer has changed, and even though he isn't entirely sure why it has, it's enough to bring a sort of weariness to his face. IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL... He's just a little more emotionally exhausted than he normally would be, and he isn't able to hide it as well.]

I don't think that there's anything wrong with being focused on something or trying to move forward. Stagnation is a really bad thing sometimes. [PUTTING IT LIGHTLY.

He seems to be considering something after that, though. His eyes drift from Ciel's face and off toward the kitchen instead. Then, softly:]


But if you fix your gaze forward so strongly, you'll miss the chances that pass by right under your nose.
