TAGS THIS 472041036204 YEARS LATER

[ the past few days was definitely a nostalgic smack in the face, and was certainly a good reminder to how much he's matured over the past year and some. it's sad an embarrassing knowing that that attitude wasn't new to him: he actually was like that when he was younger! he can't remember how long ago, exactly, and quite frankly? he doesn't want to find out.

so he's put it behind him. he made a mental note to apologize to the people he interacted with when he was like that, if he ever saw them again. the city had grown since the last time he was here (for however short a time it was), there's no doubt that it'll take some time to track them all down even with the CereVice. good job there, Irving, you didn't even get any names. for now, though, he's focused on his job, which is why he's out and about. he needs more materials for his gifts, which is why he's currently in the shopping district when he spots him.

it was a chance sighting, really: there was no way he would have caught Kratos a ways away had he not been looking in that particular direction. he's frozen to his spot, wondering what to do. if Lloyd's feeling better, then chances are that Kratos is back to normal too. for a moment, he feels a little nervous. until arriving here, he hadn't seen Kratos in over a year. how would he react now? what would he say? what would Lloyd say? should he even confront him now or let him go this time, to talk to him another day?

...screw it. no one ever got by with hesitations, anyway. ]

Dad!

[ he diverts his path, breaking into a jog as he makes a beeline to his father. the only thing slowing him down are the passersby, but it's clear that he doesn't intend on losing sight of him anytime soon. ]
