[she wants to protest, but any attempt is met with... well, a whole lot of nothing. ludger picking her up brings a strange sense of comfort and safety, and being as tired as she is, it mostly just envelopes her.

sure, in the morning she'll probably be a bit upset that she didn't really get to choose, but it's a small price to pay for everything else.]
