Is that really so much better?

[ He'd be okay with living a quiet and normal life by now, thanks.. his childhood dreams of living an exciting life as a professional soccer player are completely gone by now, after all. ]

I'm sure some people'd call this place "exciting". [ The underlying implication is not hard to glance from it.. this place is shitty, and if this is what exciting is like, then he'd rather just sit back home again and go to school every day like he used to, okay. ]
