[Naoki's starting to learn a few things about Yang the longer that he spends time with her. One of these things is that she seems to remember well even the things he thinks she says completely jokingly-- like how they talked about coaxing bellyrubs from one of his demons. How she's going to do that, he's not sure, but hey, there can't be any harm in letting her give it a shot if she's even a bit serious. Especially since he's here in case Yurlungur gets any ideas of trying to eat any magatsuhi.

Tearing his curious gaze away from the outfit she's switched to today, he props his hand on his hip.]

Since you dressed up and all, I could let you try it out. Buuuut, it's not too late to call it off either. [And they can get on to training! He looks again at her clothes, secretly admiring (where he's sure Yurlungur won't). It's different and fresh and er anyway back on track he's completely focused on the topic on hand.]

[She did take his hand anyway. Huh. Naoki shifts his hand to grasp at the other one now too.

Squeeze as hard as you possibly can? [He's just playing now tbh but hey he's curious. He doesn't expect her to go easy on him either...]

... [ Yang raises an eyebrow.

And then promptly squeezes. ]

Gah.

[But he's laughing even as he tugs his hands a little in her grip.]

All right, perfect, that's good--

[flaredo]

Full bill of health? [ And she'll loosen her hold. ]

[masakados]

Yep. Now you're free to go and... demon tame and fight and have all your Yang adventures again.

[As much as sitting here leaning against each other and bonding is.

He wraps his fingers about her hands though instead of letting go, moving to stand. And, naturally, to pull her up with him.]

[flaredo]

[ Up she goes! Nice and graceful, thanks Naoki. ]

Fun as that sounds, I may actually need a nap soon...

[masakados]

[And finally, he'll let go of her hands once she's on her feet.]

A nap... [He nods approvingly actually.] That's good too.

[flaredo]

[ her fingers feel a little cold now, but she dismisses the thought and nods decisively. ] But I'll be back at normal levels by tomorrow!

[masakados]

Good to hear it.

[He grins, turning toward where his demons are.] And another day, we can do this again. Work your way up in electricity this time rather than starting at the top.

[flaredo]

[ Yang also turns in that direction, cupping a hand on her hip. ]

Okay, got it. Yurlungur and I can take it a little slower.

[masakados]

[THAT'S RIGHT slower so he doesn't have to worry about Yurlungur frying Yang to a crisp. He reaches over, giving her back an encouraging push as he starts walking over.]

But first, getting him to like you again.

[flaredo]

... Any pointers?

[masakados]

Sucking up, flattery, even if you're lying.

[Naoki pauses and smiles sidelong.] If it's something that he wants to hear, he's going to believe it. I dunno, say that his eighth colour is coming along.

[flaredo]

I only lie to the ones I don't like. Mostly.

[ But she lifts her chin and strides forward, one hand raised. ] Hey, Yurlungur! You're looking radiant again!

[masakados]

[Mostly she says. He looks after her with an amused shake of his head, going over to Long to perch on his tail:] You're not sulking, are you? [To which he gets an amused snuffle.

Yurlungur's twisted to watch Yang apprehensively with two big pairs of eyes.

...but the compliment works apparently because Yurlungur does give itself a little shake like look at how shiny and rainbow he is:] Bᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ I ᴄᴀɴ ʜᴇᴀʟ ᴍʏ sᴋɪɴ ᴏғ ᴇᴠᴇɴ ᴛʜᴇ sʟɪɢʜᴛᴇsᴛ sᴄᴜғғɪɴɢ.

So that's it... I wish I could do that. [ And she gives the snake an affectionate pat. ]

But thanks for a good fight. You did amazingly.

[Look at that. So easily won over, Naoki's thinking as Yurlungur reacts to the patting with a cautious stare at first... and then lets her do as she will.

Because she's complimenting him!!]

Hᴍᴍ-- ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ. Wᴇʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ɪɴ ᴀᴡᴇ ᴏғ ᴍʏ ᴇʟᴇᴄᴛʀɪᴄɪᴛʏ?

Totally. I can still feel my arms tingling!

[ That darling. ]

[masakados]

[Yurlungur wriggles happily... and then moves to loop through the air around her.] Fᴜᴀʜᴀ, ᴛʜᴀᴛ'sss ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ ᴍɪɴᴇ ɪs ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴏɴɢᴇsᴛ!

[Demons are smug. So susceptible to flattery.

Naoki's shaking his head. And he's giving Long a shove with a face as the dragon says in a laughing tone: Yᴏᴜɴɢsᴛᴇʀ, ᴅɪᴅ ᴛʜᴏᴜ ᴇɴᴊᴏʏ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴛɪᴍᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴛᴛɪɴɢ?]

[flaredo]

[ He's lucky Yang is missing that comment; she's too busy laughing as Yurlungur loops around her. ]

Just be a little merciful on me next time, okay? I want to get strong enough to give you a real fight!

[masakados]

[Naoki's very glad she's missing too, okay, he doesn't need any more reasons for her to tease him. He flops back on Long's body, stretching and closing his eyes.

Yurlungur quits his looping long enough to peer at her with one of his heads, eyes gleaming.] Ssssɪɴᴄᴇ ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ᴀsᴋɪɴɢ... I sssᴜᴘᴘᴏsᴇ I ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ᴅᴏ ᴛʜᴀᴛ. Fᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ sᴀᴋᴇ ᴏғ ᴀ ʀᴇᴀʟ ғɪɢʜᴛ.

[flaredo]

Thanks. [ sincerely; her voice warms. ] I promise, I'll give it all I've got.

[masakados]

[Yurlungur makes a pleased sound at that, and he sweeps his way around her, like an affectionate animal. Mind, one that can use electricity like no-one's business and can talk and all but still.

Naoki calls over with a laugh in his voice and a smile:] You two're looking friendly again.

[flaredo]

Yep! I think we've become good buddies.

[ PROUD SMILE. ]

[masakados]

[Naoki rolls off of Long with a chuckle and the dragon lifts himself up slowly, peering down at them. He nods his snout in acknowledgement before disappearing in a flash of light, at Naoki's wave of the hand.]

Great. Now, no more fighting--except for the training.
