Who: Sir Smiles A Lot ( endworld ) and Sir Gestures A Lot ( allthreefourths )
When: Before Ye Olde Rescue Mission, i'm super specific about these dates
Where: Some ice cream shop that probably won't allow dragons after this.
What: Dragon discovers ice cream. Hiccup discovers that Winter in a Cone is pretty weird. Poor Seren probably discovers dragon drool.

[ there's lots of things you don't know about while you're a viking. there's... fridges. "boxes holding winter", as he calls it. light switches. he didn't know what was phony about the phones, but somehow they let voices from far away boom in your ear like they're odin or something (maybe that's the phony part). lots of things.
and admittedly, while hiccup and toothless did a whole lot of flying around while they were here, their experiences down on the ground were a little bit less plentiful. it's why they're wandering here and there now. it's also why seren is subject to the sight of a dragon trying to fit through the doorway of his ice cream shop. the dragon's owner is behind him, looking a bit amused, while trying to direct his scaly friend through.
they finally do get through after some careful manoeuvring that involves toothless tucking in his wings and nearly stuffing himself in vertically, which leaves hiccup to fit through (easily) and offer a slight wave to seren, a slight gesture to toothless. ]
Sorry about that. Toothless here... really wanted to come in, for some reason.
[ apparently there was something alluring about ice cream. hiccup, on the other hand, is trying to think of what exactly ice cream entails. is that like... slush, or something?
