Open!

[Phase I]

[She just wanted to go home, was that too much to ask for? Apparently so since no amount of heel digging had done anything to dissuade her hosts (kidnappers? All that stuff in the powerpoint couldn't possibly be--) from shoving her onto a bus, and later from being shoved onto a ferris wheel. Not that she put up too much of a fight, mind. She's still a little shell-shocked.

The quiet, traumatized expression doesn't leave her face even once she's seated, Mio pressing herself against the wall of the snowflake and staring blankly at the floor, one hand touching at the ugly bruising around her throat. It's all a bit much for her mind to handle, though after a moment she finally looks ready to say something.
] Why--

[And then the lights go out, and Mio just heaves a shuddery, long-suffering sigh.

And then the weird breathing at her neck. She launches herself out of her seat immediately and, probably, onto the lap of some other unfortunate soul stuck on the ride with her.
] What was that!?

[Bonus]

[Dear god did it ever end. What do you want for Christmas, little girl? the stupid robot had asked, and Mio had glared and said in a very loud, clear voice:] I want my sister!

[The box in her hands clearly did not house her sister, and she glared at it with open disdain. Her grip tightened and with a frustrated noise she tossed it away from her. Regardless of whether it hits a person or the ground, when it pops open and out pops the, er, "gifts," Mio makes a squeaking noise of shock and embarrassment.] Wh-what!? I didn't ask for-- [paNIC]

[Other]

[Amusement parks mean food, and Mio is starving. Horribly so. If she calculated right, almost a week passed since she'd gone into the village, and even if it didn't feel that long, it had still been quite a while since she last ate.

So she surveys a counter of food, her stomach growling terribly loud as she does.
] Ugh. [Mio turns red, casting a glance to whoever's next to her, sure they overheard.] S...Sorry. Um. How do I buy things here? [The technology is a little bit beyond her 1980s self.]
