The system of codes, you could say. That is, essentially what we are, if everything they've told us is true. When you have a lot of data in one place, sometimes things may go wrong, interrupting the infrastructure which results in glitches.

At least, this is my interpretation of it. There are still things I don't understand about technology. I was originally from a place that did not have much of it, if at all.
