[She's not teasing him more yet... mostly because she's not sure if it's worth it. It's funny to tease guys who react really fervently to it, of course, but this is...this is on a whole other level. He's so serious about it. He's the perfect straight man--he's so much the straight man that she worries some of his Seriousness might rub off on her.

For what it's worth, I'm sure I've seen this sort of plot before. [in a sci-fi flick] I'm sure we've still got our worlds out there to return to, somewhere. It's just a matter of getting there.
