it's been a little less than a full week since their arrival in this strange place, but already weiss has been making herself busy. two part-time jobs while still being a full-time student is probably not the wisest choice she's ever made ("full on crazy" were her team's words, if she remembers correctly), but it's certainly one of the more plausible ones she can imagine at this time. begrudging as she is to admit it, she doesn't know for sure how long any of them are stuck here, and she's not about to be caught with too many disadvantages. if that means breaking her back to ensure her team is going to be well cared for and supported? well. so be it.
...she does wish she hadn't indulged in those few sips of coffee from the cafe the other evening, though. she'd been up most of the night as a result, and she's definitely paying for it now.
it's actually in the midst of stifling a yawn that she realizes she is not alone in this sidewalk, that the person slowly dragging their feet across the pavement down the other end is someone she definitely recognizes, even if the outfit isn't quite so. ]
