[Archer was fully cringing at the emblem Athena made and the fact that it was pasted on his apron. Well, inwardly at least. Athena got to have her way with the things went around here since she was the one who put in the money and most of the work. That meant her lame idea of what was great ended up plastering almost anything that had the surface for it.

But for a food stall, there was a serious lack of menu. Archer, though, intentionally wanted that. Restricting himself would only be admitting that he couldn't make things that people wanted outside of said menu. Obviously, there were some restrictions because supplies of some things were exceedingly rare or impossible to find. Which meant that rich people places had to be visited for that. But here were reasonable prices for fresh cooked food.]

Before you ask, there's no menu. So just tell me what you want.

[Customer service needed a little bit of work, however. And no, Saber, you weren't getting any free food.]

...I see. [ Kousetsu is very impressed, okay. Because it seems like there's a lot one could ask for. Not that he knew many foods yet, but from what he's seen it looks to be a large amount. He was only familiar with what was cooked in the Citadel and what the Saniwa had shown them. ]

You are...a very skilled cook to be able to make all types of things. [ Please don't feed his ego Kousetsu. ] Are you familiar with...onigiri?

Nobunaga, huh. Well, that's certainly an achievement.

[When it comes to historical weapons, he can be something of a nerd.]

I don't really care about those things. Money doesn't mean much to me.

[Dragging out a takoyaki pan and mixing up a batter. Might as well get started with the basics but at least he's going homemade and not pre-mix.]

Knives are fairly terrible weapons to use against monsters. If it were up to me, I'd start you on a lance or spear.

I don't see the need in restricting things. And if I need some special ingredient, it gives me an excuse to send Athena running.

It's actually the opposite. Lances have the easiest learning curve of melee weapons though mastering it is difficult.
