[It's difficult to fight back when she's just button mashing like so especially when he is still mostly figuring out the game. However, most of her hits he can block. He's figured that aspect of the game out. But it's back to using the combos he's been reading on the cabinet as well as some that he's figured out in the course of the couple of arcade modes he's played, landing what hits she doesn't evade or block.
