estoria | Case 1: Turnabout Bicyle [Open]

Who: Phoenix Wright and yooooouuuuuu
When: December 18th, but the exact time/date can be toggled as need be.
Where: The casino, the gym and a few places in between.
What: Examine Phoenix's life as well as his choices.
Warnings: Nothing specific?

A. The Streets (Residental/Entertainment)

[Phoenix has constantly wound up missing out on public transportation and being late for work. So, he's managed to buy himself a fairly cheap bicycle (toast not included) and today is the day he tests it. He'll be trying to bike from the residential area over to the CERES Casino in the Entertainment District in time for work. Nevermind that this is in itself is more work than he'll ever actually do in the casino.

Find him as he cycles on by, or... maybe try to give him a hand when he accidentally winds up steering into the street and has to swerve around this weird futuristic traffic.]

B. CERES Casino

[Phoenix Wright works here as a pianist. The primary indication of this is that he's usually sitting by the piano. But you'll be hard-pressed to actually hear him playing, and if you do, you may notice it doesn't sound very good at all. But rather, he seems to be spending more of his time talking up the guests and settling in for games of poker. He'll also hail down servers to get himself some grape juice.

If you try to approach him with a piano-based question, you may just get this as your response:]

C. CERES Gym

[You may also find him winding down with some exercise at the gym. He's changed out of his blue suit and into his more hobo-ish get-up, with sweatpants and a sweatshirt. He will spend most of his time on the treadmill... briskly moving at it's lowest setting.]

D. Wild Card?

[Run into him somewhere around the residential district, entertainment district or shopping district (Christmas shopping is a thing!). Also to note that he's currently also acting as a talent agent for CERES CGI Productions, so he'll be keeping his eyes peeled for anyone who happens to be openly displaying some kind of interesting talent.]

[ Looks like someone needs some cheering on! Athena's in her gym gear, which is basically a tank, shorts, and a comfy jacket. She blows her whistle in hopes of startling her boss.

[He's startled alright, as if he's just been hit with an objection. He stumbles just a bit, but he then regains his stride in walking on the treadmill.

Athena... I think my chin's reached a good enough level as it is.

[ Knowing that Phoenix is definitely not going to be busy with playing the piano, Apollo finds a moment in his workday to seek him out with a question in regards to another topic. ]

Mr. Wright! [ Upon seeing him, Apollo hurries over with a somewhat sheepish expression. ]

Do you think..that you could teach me to shuffle cards?

[ Because it's funny, that's why! ]

I think you could use a little more speed, too. [ Moving over to the other side to check out the panels. ] Hmmmm...

[ At least she isn't clicking anything yet. ]

[The wariest of looks are given.]

Are you sure about that Athena? I think... kind of the opposite, you know?

[ Her face is filled with despair. ]

What? Do you want to go slower?

[Phoenix looks over to the visitor with a smile, idly shuffling the cards in his hand.]

Shuffle cards, huh? Sounds like you're ready to follow in my footsteps in more ways than usual.

Well when you put it that way, it does sound kind of pathetic...

[ It may not be Christmas shopping, but it's close! Jaune is actually window shopping for a nice suit for the upcoming dance. Why not ask the guy who never wears anything other than suits for some advice? ]

On his front, Phoenix does thinks that the ball might be a fun occasion even if he's not jumping into the dating game just yet. At the very least, he intends to be a chaperone for Trucy and Pearls.]

You sound like you're ahead of the game if you already have a date covered. But if you do really need fashion advice, you've come to the Wright guy. [No you haven't.]

Ah, well, being the resident ladies man, I have a reputation to keep up, after all! [ It seems like they're both embellishing their status here. ]

So... blue, huh? Is that what's "in" these days? It would bring out my eyes, I guess.

[The resident ladies man? Phoenix just feels lucky that he's the one who found this kid and not Larry.

He offers a confident smile as he tugs at his jacket.]

Blue happens to be a personal favorite. But you can never go wrong with a classic like this. Match it with a good vest underneath and I'm sure you'll be quite the looker, even for the 'resident ladies man'.

Well, I like it! I just hope the date finds it good enough. What about a fedora? Or is that too much? I-It's probably too much, isn't it?

It... sounds like a bit much, yeah...

You'll be hiding your hair! One's hair can make a decisive point when it comes to events like this. You should think of a good way to style it!

I don't know if spiking my hair is the way to go, if that's what you're thinking...
