I think that's called down, on a bird? I don't know if that's right, but I know they don't have hair. Still, bird down is pretty soft.
[She looks up, expression just a little bit wistful.]
I keep pet birds at home, a pair of crows. They've been with me since I was very, very young. And they have the softest, sleekest feathers.
