[ The garden truly was a beautiful sight to behold, and vast. Later in the evening Izumi allowed himself to wander, taking in the sights of the fountains bubbling and the plants resting on the surface.
For a moment, he thought he saw something and leaned in, fingers reaching out to brush at one of the lily pads when one of the plants opened it's mouth-- yes, that was definitely a mouth with an impressive row of teeth-- and tried to take his fingers clear off. If he'd hesitated just a moment more, he'd certainly be missing at least one or two of them.
Instinctively he steps back and takes a look around him.
He's suddenly hyper aware of the sounds around him. The garden no longer looks so pictureque and perfect. Izumi also takes note of anyone nearby as well.] Careful... [ Anything could happen. Though whether or not they saw what happened to him was up in the air. If anything else tried to make a move, he'd do what he could to protect them. ]
