sheathwife: ...or does it!? (- wagiri tougarashi)
堀川国広 ❀ horikawa "s-ranking stalker" kunihiro. ([personal profile] sheathwife) wrote in [community profile] estoria 2015-04-26 08:15 am (UTC)

[ The moment Horikawa heard that name... A noticeable change crosses his facial features. The guarded look was short-lived. He thought at this moment now, is this why there's a strange sensation panning through his chest? As despite the difference of time, dimensions, and worlds... Ultimately, there's something that connects everything together; something so deep that he can never understand. That holds true, especially in this moment. Souji Okita... Even though this... this isn't the one that he's familiar with, there's still something incomprehensibly familiar at the same time. That doesn't make any sense, but it does at the same time.

He blanks out. He could only stare with that dumbfounded expression, unsure of how to adjust to this at all. They were... so ready to accept that they wouldn't see familiar faces anymore. They secured that with their actions. It's what they were given life for... It's what their new purpose is, until they once again fade away from existence. What are they fighting for? That purpose hasn't changed. Yet... to see something like this before him, it just draws an unknown feedback across his mind. The mixture of violent emotions are slowly catching up to him, even though he's doing his best to remain calm. ]

Ah...

[ He blinks rapidly about three times, then lowers his gaze. His face feels a little hot. No... No, don't feel this way. He shouldn't feel this way. He's already decided to leave the past as the past. This is horrible... Though, thankfully, his strong-will overpowers everything else. He can still manage. He needs to straighten up, he repeats this to himself numerous times. Eventually, he lifts his eyes once more to meet with the young man's before him. Souji... Okita. Even though he's not the same one he's seen, the overall aura is frighteningly familiar. Like a ghost that crossed the mirror.

No... A ghost wouldn't be this beautiful. ]

M-My apologizes! I'm, I'm terribly sorry for being unable to tell at all...!

[ How terrible. Out of respect and heavy guilt for being unable to tell right away, Horikawa falls on his knees and bows deeply on the floor. It didn't matter if people looked over. He wanted his feelings to come across. He's sincerely sorry for being unable to recognize him at all, even if it's not his fault. ]
