[He remembers, now, how Souza had told him that he reminded him of the seiwa, when he had expressed his distaste over the masters who had locked him behind glass and treated him like a trophy. That had been a good sign, of course, and everything Mutsu is saying is only confirming it.

There is a brief pang of jealousy, as he thinks that his swords probably love their new master quite a lot, then, but... Well, Souji can be blamed for many things, but selfishness really isn't one of them. If this master has made them feel happy, has treated them like the people they now are and has given them all the respect they deserve, then Souji could not wish for more. And this new master is the reason he's been able to talk to his sword at all, and that is enough reason to be grateful t him.]

That's good to hear. And.. I have a feeling having a lot of freedom in this place will probably be an experience. [Considering the swords still sound as if they've not actually taken any direct part in civilization before - at least, more than killing people. Even less than Souji, who otherwise is a little bit in the same boat.] But just because you're a weapon doesn't mean you can't be other things as well, right? So maybe that's what he's thinking.
