The snow even reminded her of back home. It may have been spring where she was from, but the most important memory to her was on a February winter day--
Which she was reminded of when she saw the all too familiar face at the corner of her eye when she turns around, the sound of him laughing cheerfully being all too familiar in her ears. And then the starts of tears begin to trickle in her eyes, clearly distressed by the fact that this was someone she knew, someone she cared for. Right?
She didn't doubt that he was real, especially once he opened his mouth with a smile, asking her what's wrong; she just simply tells him in reply that she's missed him, that she's completely livid with him for not showing up sooner, and that just makes him sigh nonchalantly in apology. Regardless, she decides that since she's here, she might as well show him off. Meaning that if she runs into someone she's met at least once- maybe perhaps a few times- you'll see her happier than she's ever been in her whole time that she's been in Tellus, deciding to introduce him to the people she's spoken to.
Basically, Inaba Himeko has now become Dereban. ]
Hey, guys, look-- this is my boyfriend [ Man, does it feel nice to say that word. ] Yaegashi Taichi.
[ Her eyes are literally glistening as she speaks, hands clasped together as the look written in her eyes is pretty telling, almost if saying, "I told you guys he'd show up! I wasn't lying when I said I had a boyfriend!"
To which Taichi laughs sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. This is awkward. He didn't ask for her to introduce him to everyone. ]

[ When the clock hits that half hour and she hears the words “You always did have a habit of looking for the things you can never find. A trait of only the most worthless.” she finds her eyes widening in surprise. That voice definitely belonged to Taichi, but the words didn't match his personality at all. But when she finally gets the chance to whip her head around, the person that was once there is gone. That alone causes her to grit her teeth, blinking away red, hot, angry tears as she balled up her hands into tight fists.
Yaegashi Taichi would never say things like that. After all, he was the type that never judged and was selfless to a fault; to an extreme that sometimes made her almost sick. It was almost a borderline mental illness, honestly.
Slamming her fist to the nearest wall in frustration for a second before realizing ow that actually hurt herself. Oops. ]
I can't believe I fell for that! [ She shouts that at the top of her lungs in frustration; it can be heard throughout the entire mall. ]
