( It doesn't take long for Mutsu to realize what Horikawa is doing. By sticking to narrow paths, it would be difficult for their bulkier enemy to chase them. In the event they were chased, it would be easier to face an enemy that can only move in one direction that one that was free to run around int he open space. If Mutsu had known the area better, he would have done the same thing.

Though his eyes aren't as good as Horikawa, he's able to make out a vague shape up ahead. Is that... a building? Could they be safe there?
