[ Hah... That was very touching, and Athena would cry if she could. Now doesn't seem like the time to cry, though, she thinks. She may only be practicing law for half a year, but she's taken her boss' words to heart. The most hopeless of times is when a lawyer has to force their biggest smiles. It doesn't seem so bleak yet, but Athena is hurting so much inside after seeing her mother and being called worthless. She shouldn't be smiling, but she smiles for Natalia, anyway. It doesn't matter if no one is around to comfort her—not that she wants other people to do it, it would just be troublesome for them. She would at least want Natalia to feel better. Her own comforting can come later. ]

There's no reason to be mad. We're all in the same position.

[ She takes a seat next to Natalia and draws her legs closer to hug her knees. The other girl may not know it, but when someone is "unbearably mad", Athena can hear such raging emotions and it affects her, too. Passionate feelings like that tend to be contagious in Athena's case, but since she's experiencing so much sadness, these two emotions just clash in her head and it hurts her inside.

It kind of sucks having the ability to hear emotions this way. But... ]

We should all just be glad that we're still here. This isn't the worst thing that's happened. And if we get affected too much by this now, we won't be able to handle the coming trials.

We just have to help each other out, and we'll all get through this!
