[Her fish only has another minute or two to grill when she hears Kuzuryuu drop the spoon. Immediately she's turning toward him out a vague concern that maybe he'd burned himself or something similar, only to pause after taking one step toward him to listen. She'd been focused too much on the sound of the sizzling fish to make sure it didn't burn to pay much attention to anything outside the window.
But there it is again, very faint, perhaps fainter than before. As if whatever made that sound is moving away from them (for now).]
