just don't wanna let you down, i can hear my heart cry [open]
Who: Taquito-kun (
takeedabanana) and you!
When: 1/7
Where: CERES Gardens
What: getting back to nature ... sorta.
Rating/Warnings: blanket disclaimer for potential shenanigans and a permission post because he's a big dumb nerd that has the ability to read minds.
[Compared to some of the others, Takeda didn't seem as disturbed by the revelation of his situation. At least, that's what it looked like. He had to admit, a PowerPoint presentation wasn't exactly what he was expecting to be his apparent debriefing to what was going on. Still, after everything that he and his friends had done in order to stop Shinnok, finally being able to relax in a way, only to be pulled here and knowing that everything he knew up until now was gone until further notice?
Well, let's just say that he has good reason to be a bit more reserved than usual.
That and the lack of presence from anyone familiar really didn't serve to ease any tension. As the day goes by, Takeda's stumbled upon the gardens, and he's ... genuinely impressed. Most wouldn't really peg him for the nature type, but it reminded him of better days, being with his mother when she was still alive. It wasn't really all that often that he got to indulge this sort of thing - usually was too busy training, dealing with missions for both the Shirai Ryu and the S.F., or in the few instances he had some downtime, the thought really hadn't crossed his mind all that often.
His look softens considerably as he continues along a side path - if it weren't for the fact that he was still on high alert, he may have relaxed completely. But sometimes old habits are incredibly hard to break, especially if those habits had saved your life in the past.
It's only because of that instinct that he immediately tenses upon hearing footsteps approaching, one fist clenched and ready to pull out one of his whips - ... oh, right, he was in civilian clothes - his combat suit was back at the small apartment that had been assigned to him.
Instead, he just has one fist cocked back and a deep scowl on his face.]
I know you're here! Show yourself!
