"You'd be surprised what someone good with a sword can do, but if you say so!" Nanoha laughed, making a show of cracking her neck and shoulders as increased her altitude, landing on a nice rooftop where she could really take aim from. Really, if you put Nanoha in charge of strategy, there was really only one way things could go: Quick, direct, and more than anything, decisive.
"I'm going to open a path to the boss! That's going to attract the attention of all the enemies we sneaked past, so we'll have to move quickly! Hit them with your full power, at full throttle!" This was, to Nanoha, the best tactic. Anything else would open up the opportunity for their enemies to call reinforcements back before they could get close. This made sure the enemy knew where they were, and so a much stricter time limit, but at least they would start close!
"Start running now, I'll catch up! Blaster 1!" She announced, and anyone sensitive to such things would be able to feel the surge of magical energy that suddenly coursed through Nanoha. A three-stage module that let magi go over their usual limits temporarily in exchange for an increased strain on their bodies, that was the Blaster System. A limit break that was most fitting for a boss fight!
"Divine..." Nanoha dug her heels deep into the concrete, a magic circle forming around her feet as she charged up. The tip of Raising Heart was pointed straight at the alien spaceship, the infamous sphere of pink energy already growing as cartridges were fired off, each ka-thunk merely adding to its power.
"BUSTER!" She finished, letting rip the huge beam, which ripped through the cool, (albeit digital,) night air and crashed straight through the outer wall of the spacecraft. Not content to stop there, the beam travelled on, blasting through a series of shields and walls of various thickness until the core of the saucer was exposed to the outside world, revealing the boss upon his throne.
It was not a very impressive physical specimen, tall but far too thin, grey with a head slightly too large to be normal, dressed in a robe that hung loosely off it. If there was anything that made it dangerous, it would surely have to be some form of psychokinetic or telepathic power. That, and the half-dozen elite fighters surrounding it armed with scary looking plasma rifles.
I kind of wanted to shoot all the way through the spaceship, but looks like it was a bit too tough. Let's go! The mage sent telepathically to her ally as she kicked into the air. All their attention is on me now, so I doubt I'll be able to take the time to properly charge another big blast, so I'll support you!
And as if on cue, a series of much smaller magic bullets flew out from behind her, raining down upon the enemy as a form of suppressing fire.
