It was too much to stand by quietly; thankfully it didn't appear to pull any unwanted attention. This region was well and truly clear of obstacles outside of nonmoving objects for whatever reason.

"I think the people from the clinic are coming. We're almost back there to the trains!"

Well, first off, it was not mana at all. Mana is what you humans produce, and we consume. Spirit energy is what I produce, and you use. There is a difference between them, and it would behoove you to pay attention and respect that difference.

Second, that was not pumping you full to any degree. That was a small dose for you to manipulate and use for a single attack.

If that is all that it takes to set you off, then you are not controlling it fine. It is like a single spark setting off a room of explosives.

How do you know you don't? Not everyone is so quick to flaunt their powers as I am. And if you're so easily blown up by this, I can't imagine that's the only thing that can set you off. What if you were to touch a type of energy-rich material, like a spirit fossil?

A spirit fossil is what remains of a deceased spirit. However, the remains are extremely rich with mana, and it's actually very effective bait for living spirits. It's sort of like a beautiful gemstone with great powers stored within.
