[Well. That wasn't what she expected. She backs up enough of a space so that she'll be able to start getting into a run, and by that time it would probably have risen enough so that she could slide underneath it.

And that's what she does, starting out at a sprint before hitting the ground and sliding underneath the door.]

[he mutters quietly, shifting a bit. there is something strangely comforting about the fact that heung soo experienced the same thing he did. maybe it shouldn't be, but the kind of solidarity that comes from his best friend knowing what he feels and experiences makes it all a little less stressful. though being reminded of that trapped inability to move doesn't sit well with him in the least.

it just goes to prove, after all, that it has something to do with how weird things are around here. nam soon's not sure whether that makes it better or worse, since it clearly means something screwy is going on—maybe more than they had already seen. it doesn't necessarily occur to him that maybe this was more than a dream, at least not immediately. it's undoubtedly suspicious, but that's a hard conclusion to jump to in a somewhat groggy state anyway.]

They're messing with us again. CERES... others might have had it too. [he sighs a little; it's just annoying at this point. though really, he'd take a fucked up dream like that over some of the other shit they've had to deal with any day of the week.] I wonder if they're here. The ones from the dream.

well, he can appreciate her honestly, at least. he totally understands this sentiment, so it's not like he'd try to argue against it or act like he's not disappointed too. there's no fun in this at all.]

And here I thought maybe I'd work up an appetite with a good fight. Looks like I'm out of luck there, unless we've got some kind of surprise in store. [which... he doubts, honestly.]

Once safely on the other side, he stands up and dusts himself off, while the walls can be heard slamming together behind him.]

Well, I suppose there's no turning back now. [He adjusts his glasses.] Let's assume that we're on the correct path.

[ she shrugs. she's super messing with him now, it's terrible. ]

[He gives a wide shrug, just as exaggerated to match the feigned surprise.]

[ well?! at least malia's pretty skilled at bringing combativeness out of people. she's really gotta work on these social skills but haha what's a filter? ]

[ in the poor lighting (or lack thereof), iv has to strain to see the claws growing from the tips of malia's fingers. he's seen many things in the past month, and so, while he narrows his eyes in wonder, he's able to retain a great deal of composure over the reveal. ]

[ his tone indicates he doesn't doubt her so much as he's turning the term around in his head. that explains a lot.

[ when she knows he's finished looking, she withdraws them and shoves her hands in her pockets, shrugging. she suddenly feels oddly insecure. ]
